Fund manager Navigera is expanding its fund offering in the area of sustainability. Together with Danish asset manager Qblue Balanced, a new global sustainability fund is launched with the goal of investing in the companies that are best positioned to solve the world’s sustainability challenges.
Navigera has entered into a partnership with Copenhagen-based asset manager Qblue Balanced who has a solid expertise in sustainable investments. Together, the two companies launch the Global Sustainable Leaders fund, which invests in the companies who are the farthest ahead in the field of sustainability within their industry. The fund will be managed according to a quantitative sustainability model that rates potential investment options relative to each other, taking into account current and future sustainability standards.
-“Global Sustainable Leaders will be a great complement to Navigera’s sustainability offering and we are very pleased to launch the fund together with Qblue Balanced. They have a unique approach in sustainable investment that is fully consistent with our investment philosophy,” says Christian Sterndahlen, Co-CIO and responsible for sustainability analysis at Navigera.
Behind Qblue Balanced is a dedicated team with global expertise and long experience in investment and finance. CEO and Founder Bjarne Graven Larsen has more than 30 years of experience working with sustainable investments from, among others, the Canadian Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, one of the world’s largest institutional investors.
-“A central part of our asset management is to analyze the goals the companies have set to address global sustainability challenges. We are convinced that the actors who are going through a positive journey of change and working to strengthen their sustainability work will remain competitive and thus profitable to invest in,” says Bjarne Graven Larsen, CEO of Qblue Balanced.
Global Sustainable Leaders achieves the EU’s highest sustainability classification, the dark green Article 9, in the recently introduced Disclosure regulation.
