To achieve our mission, we need an efficient and scalable technological infrastructure to retrieve data, run strategies and report on investments. Therefore, we are looking for additional resources to help us on this journey.

What can we offer you?
In the position as Financial Data Analyst you will be working full time in our Data & Technology department located at our office at Havnegade 23 in central Copenhagen. You will become part of a small but growing company with 14 employees from various backgrounds.

Qblue Balanced is an ambitious organization, where you will experience a steep learning curve, while working with experienced and highly skilled colleagues within areas such as programming, finance, operations, and marketing. You will of course be offered training on a continuous basis based on your individual skill-level and needs.

In your new role you will get various responsibilities such as:

• Extracting and cleaning financial data
• Implementing and maintaining investment reports using Python
• Performing ad-hoc data analysis
• Helping with the creation of new data structures and data flows
• Assisting developers with the implementation of investment strategies in Python

You will be part of a young team, where it is highly encouraged to seek out new ideas and challenge the status quo. We are constantly looking to implement new best practices and have a particular focus on the learning and development opportunities of the team.

What are we looking for?
To succeed in the job, it is important that you are very interested in developing your programming and data management skills. You should also enjoy working in small teams and consider yourself a hardworking, dedicated, and reliable colleague. Furthermore, you never shy away from a challenge and a new learning opportunity.

More specifically we imagine that you:

• Have recently, or are about to, finish a relevant master’s degree with great academic results within a relevant field such as finance, statistics, engineering, or computer science
• Have a little experience programming and are eager to become much more proficient
• Want to work with large and complex datasets
• Have at least some understandings of financial markets and are interested in learning more

Additionally, it will be considered an advantage, but not a requirement, if you:

• Have experience specifically in Python
• Have some experience working with large datasets, possibly using SQL
• Have experience with visualization of data
• Have experience with other technologies and platforms like AWS, Docker, or GIT
