At Qblue Balanced, our mission is to help our clients achieve their goals by developing and delivering robust and sustainable systematic investment solutions with superior risk-adjusted returns at an attractive price. To achieve our mission, we need an efficient, scalable, and reliable operations infrastructure. At the same time, our business is experiencing significant growth. Therefore, we are looking for additional resources to help us on this journey.

What can we offer you?

In the position as Operations Manager, you will be working full-time in our Operations department located at our office at Havnegade 23 in central Copenhagen. You will become part of a small but growing company with 15 employees from various backgrounds.
Qblue Balanced is an ambitious organization, where you will experience a steep learning curve, while working with experienced and highly skilled colleagues within areas such as operations, finance, investments, IT, and marketing.

In your new role you will get various responsibilities such as:

• Ensuring the daily operational flow with various external stakeholders.
• Performing daily trade, position, and cash balances reconciliation.
• Formalizing and optimizing operational processes and procedures.
• Automating daily operational processes in collaboration with IT.
• Creating and maintaining various external and internal financial reports & presentations.
• Ad-hoc back-office tasks.
• Participate in various projects across the organization.

Who are we looking for?

To succeed in the job, it is important that you have an interest in the financial market, a structured work approach, and a keen eye for details and a patient attitude towards identifying, understanding, and solving problems. You also enjoy working in small teams and have an open mindset to see how you can improve already established processes.

More specifically we imagine that you:

• Are in the beginning of your career, holding a relevant master’s degree with great academic results within a relevant field such as finance, accounting, or economics.
• You have at least a basic understanding of financial markets and products and you want to learn more.
• You want to get a deeper understanding of operations management in a financial environment.
• You have a keen interest in improving processes by automating and optimizing workflows.
• You have experience working in Excel.

Additionally, it will be considered an advantage, but not a requirement, if you:

• Have some experience in an operational role either from being part time or from an internship
